Eligible Programs and Fields of Study

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the University of Paris-Saclay Scholarship 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements. The scholarship is open to international students who are undertaking their first academic studies in France. Applicants must not be older than 30 years during the selection year.
Candidates must be admitted to a Master’s program at Université Paris-Saclay. Applicants with a study gap of more than three years are not eligible. Strong academic performance and an excellent academic background are essential for selection.
Selection Process
The selection process is competitive and takes place in two stages. First, applicants must apply for and secure admission to a Master’s program at Université Paris-Saclay. Admission to a Master’s program does not automatically guarantee a scholarship.
Only students who are officially invited by email from Université Paris-Saclay to apply for the IDEX scholarship are eligible to proceed. Applications submitted without an invitation will not be considered.
How to Apply for the University of Paris-Saclay Scholarship 2026
Applicants must first apply to a Master’s degree program at Université Paris-Saclay through the standard university admission process. After admission, selected candidates will be contacted by the university via email and invited to apply for the IDEX scholarship.
There is no separate public scholarship application. Only invited students will receive instructions on how to complete the scholarship process. Applicants are advised to carefully follow all instructions provided by the university.
Important Note
Students who are already enrolled in a French university are not eligible for this scholarship. Applicants should apply early to their desired Master’s program and ensure all academic documents are accurate and complete.
