The Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) has opened applications for the ICYF Young Climate Volunteers Camp 2026. This is a fully funded international youth program that will be held in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The camp is designed for young people who are interested in climate change, environmental protection, and community development. Financial Benefits
Selected participants will receive full financial support from the organizers. The program covers international travel costs through a dedicated travel grant. It also includes local transportation, free accommodation, and meals during the entire camp. Participants will receive an official invitation letter to support their visa process and a certificate of participation after completing the program.
Objectives of the ICYF Volunteer Camp
The camp aims to raise awareness about climate change and environmental challenges. It encourages youth-led climate action and promotes leadership among young people from the OIC region and beyond. Another key objective is to help participants develop project ideas that can positively impact their local communities and improve climate resilience.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be citizens of an OIC Member State or OIC Observer State, or represent a Muslim community in a non-OIC country. They must be between 18 and 35 years old and have good proficiency in the English language. Applicants should show interest or experience in climate change, environmental protection, disaster risk reduction, or volunteer activities. Candidates must also be fully committed to attending the complete training program.
Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by the ICYF selection committee. Candidates will be evaluated based on their motivation, interest in climate action, previous volunteer or community experience, leadership potential, and commitment to social impact. Gender and geographic balance will also be considered. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted via email.
